In this program you travel twice the most spectacular section of the entire CHEPE EXPRESS train route. Los Mochis - Bahuichivo - Divisadero - El Fuerte. Wednesday: Arrival at Los Mochis airport
Welcome to the airport and transfer to the port of Topolobampo
In the afternoon boat ride through the third largest natural bay in the world to appreciate the families of dolphins that live here and observe the flora and fauna of the place.
Optional lunch on the Maviri beach to taste Sinaloan cuisine with the famous zarandeado fish, “Los Callos de Hacha” and marlin tacos. Later enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Thursday: Los Mochis - Bahuichivo
Your adventure aboard the CHEPE EXPRESS begins in the city of Los Mochis and will take you from sea level to a height of more than 2,200 m.
Shortly after El Fuerte, the train crosses the “Agua Caliente” bridge, the longest on the route, which crosses over the Río Fuerte at 499 m., Shortly afterwards it crosses the longest tunnel “El Descanso”. Along the Septentrion River, it rises through the mountains into the Sierra Madre. Throughout the entire route, the CHEPE crosses 86 tunnels and 39 bridges. Canyons, high cliffs, diverse vegetation and a series of waterfalls enrich the entire train route. Your stop today is Bahuichivo station.
Arrival in Bahuichivo, welcome and transfer to the hotel located in the town of Cerocahui.
In the afternoon visit to the Cerro del Gallego viewpoint to appreciate the deepest Canyon of the Barrancas “Urique” system.

Friday: Cerocahui - "Barrancas del Cobre" National Park
Today we recommend you to get up early in the morning for an optional hike to the waterfall of Cerocahui.
After breakfast transfer from Cerocahui directly to the adventure park “Barrancas del Cobre”, which is located in the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara, between the Posada Barrancas and Divisadero.
In the park, a guided walk to the Balancing Rock, several lookout points where three of the largest canyons are found: Urique, Cobre and Tararecua.
In the National Park you will find a restaurant with a terrace and glass floor from where you can enjoy the majestic landscape. Those who like action can take mountain bike rides for beginners, intermediate and advanced.

Free afternoon for optional walks along the rim of the Canyon. Visit a Tarahumara cave, where the Rarámuris women offer travelers various handicrafts: weaving baskets, dolls or ceramics. With your purchase you support Raramuri families.
After dinner enjoy the wonderful views offered by the mountainous landscape from your balcony or from the hotel terrace.

Saturday: Train ride from Divisadero to El Fuerte
After breakfast, you will be met at the hotel reception to take you to the train station. Your train journey begins once again with the CHEPE REGIONAL through the spectacular Copper Canyon to El Fuerte, you will see the impressive landscape of mountains with ravines and rivers along the railroad tracks. Unique vegetation changes from pines and oaks in higher places to Amapas, cacti and shrubs in the lowlands.
Arrival at El Fuerte station, welcome and transfer to the hotel located in the old town.

Sunday: Transfer El Fuerte to Los Mochis airport
After breakfast, guided tour of the old town, discover a set of well-preserved buildings from the Spanish colonial era and the fortress built in the 17th century overlooking “El Fuerte” river.
“El Fuerte” was founded by the Spanish Francisco de Ibarra in 1564 and is one of the most beautiful typical towns in northern Sinaloa. It is a colonial town on a walk you can appreciate the kiosk, the Municipal Palace, the House of Culture and the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (XVIII).
In 2010 El Fuerte was awarded as “Magical Town” for its beauty, culture and history.
Transfer from the hotel to Los Mochis airport. You will be driven through one of the most fertile growing regions in northern Mexico.
