4. November 2023 - Saturday: Today you will be part of the great parade "Day of the Dead"

Today the “Día de los Muertos” parade is planned,  by the way, the James Bond Specter movie. It crosses the huge Reforma street to the Zócalo and is really impressive.

You will be part of the hundreds of people who are in the center of the city and participate disguised in this parade. Enjoy this day with lots of music and colorful costumes. Come very early because it is very crowded and you will not be able to admire all the splendor of the costumes and carriages from further back. Definitely a spectacular event for people who are not claustrophobic.

9. November 2023 - Thursday: Teotihuacán archaeological site / Basilica de Guadalupe

To avoid the large flow of visitors, we took you early in the morning to a highlight in Mexico, the Teotihuacán archaeological site, located at the gates of Mexico City. The mystical site was partially inhabited by up to 200,000 people. To this day it is still unclear why the city was suddenly abandoned. Researchers appear to have come much closer to clarifying this question by discovering a tunnel under one of the pyramids.

To get a clearer view of the size of Teotihuacán, we recommend climbing some or all of the steps of the Sun and / or Moon pyramid.

After lunch, visit the Basilica de Guadalupe, the basilica of the first Latin American and indigenous Virgin.
