Day 1
Sunday: Arrival in Los Mochis and transfer to El Fuerte(also on Wednesay or Friday)

Through one of the most fertile growing regions in northern Mexico, you will be driven from the airport across the modern city of Los Mochis to the Magical Town of El Fuerte
The town was founded in 1564 by the Spaniard Francisco de Ibarra and is idyllically located very close to El Fuerte river, whose tranquility and the water sound will accompany your days and nights.
Since 2010 El Fuerte has been awarded as a “Magical Town” for its beauty, culture and history.
In the afternoon, an optional guided walk through the picturesque city. You will visit the typical Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the museum and some historical buildings. The legend says that Diego de la Vega better known as “El Zorro” was born in El Fuerte. Enjoy “El Zorro” show at the Posada del Hidalgo Hotel drinking a delicious tamarind “Margarita”.

Day 2
Monday: Travel on the Chepe Express train from El Fuerte to Divisadero

- Welcome at Divisadero and transfer to the hotel
- Overnight Divisadero or Posada Barrancas
From 7:00 am breakfast in the restaurant. After you have the morning free, there is much to explore in El Fuerte. Be sure to visit the viewpoint or the Miguel Ángel Morales Ibarra Community Museum. It shows the original clothing, masks and instruments used in traditional dances, as well as objects from the daily life of the Yoreme indigenous people. From the viewpoint of the museum you can see in the distance the blueberry plantations and the nature that surrounds the Fuerte river.
Optional river raft excursion. This tour includes a short walk to appreciate the rock carvings found on the hill of the mask.
At the indicated time your driver will pick you up at the hotel reception to take you to the train station. Today begins the adventure with the Chepe Express train.
As soon as you leave El Fuerte, the train crosses the Agua Caliente bridge, the longest on the route, located over the Río Fuerte at 499 m. Shortly after, the longest El Descanso tunnel goes through. Parallel to the river Septentrión you will begin the ascent between mountains, waterfalls and valleys. Your destination today is Divisadero station.
Around 16:15 hours you will arrive at Divisadero where you will be welcome to take you to the hotel.

Day 3
Tuesday: Transfer from Divisadero to Creel

- Excursion to "Piedra Volada" and the "Barrancas del Cobre" National Park
- Visit to the local market in Divisadero
- Transfer by road to the Magical Town of Creel
- Overnight in Creel
Today we recommend enjoying the sunrise from the comfort of your terrace, a wonderful experience.
Breakfast and guided excursion to the “Piedra Volada” including several glass platform viewpoints. Here three of the largest canyons converge: Urique, Cobre and Tararecua.
You will also visit the “Barrancas del Cobre” National Park, which is located in the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara, between the Posada Barrancas and Divisadero train stations. In addition to the majestic beauty of the landscape, the park has a restaurant with a glass-floor terrace. There are also mountain bike tours for beginners, intermediates, and advanced riders.
- In the National Park you can book and pay for the following outdoor activities directly.
- Ride on the longest cable car in Mexico (2,750 meters long) that will take you to the heart of the Copper Canyon with a view of the Urique River.
- Ride on Zip Rider. A 2,550-meter route without intermediate towers.
- “Via Ferrata” with abseiling practice
- Zip lines with 7 stations
After these activities transfer back to the hotel for lunch. Later transfer by car through an impressive landscape to the “Magical Town” of Creel.
In the afternoon optional walk in the center of Creel. Visit the main the main plaza, the church or the museum. Creel was founded in 1907, during the first stage of the construction of the railway from Chihuahua to the Pacific. It has developed into a small town and is now the largest and most important mestizo settlement along the railway line with around 5100 inhabitants.

Day 4
Wednesday: Train journey with the Chepe Regional from Creel to Chihuahua

After breakfast our guide will take you on a tour of the surroundings of this magical town. You will visit the peaceful lake of Arareco and the Mission San Ignacio. In the Valley of the Mushrooms, Frogs and Monks the strange rock formations live up to their name.
In the Valley of the Monks you can hike to discover the interesting rock formations 50 m high.
In the afternoon you will travel on board the Chepe Regional Tourist train from Creel to Chihuahua. This trip offers another scenic experience, as you will cross a semi-desert plain. Apple and peach orchards will bid you farewell to this unforgettable trip.
Note: If this transfer takes place on a Saturday or Monday, the service will be provided by a car/car transfer

Day 5
Thursday: Departure flight from Chihuahua

After breakfast, Optional guided city tour of Chihuahua: You will visit the “Zócalo”, surrounded by various colonial buildings, to other impressive sights such as the Museum of Pancho Villa “Hero of the Mexican Revolution”, and finally you will visit the Museum of Quinta Gameros.
The trip ends with the transfer to Chihuahua airport.
